A regional workshop titled "Strengthening Programme Management Systems"was organized by the Asia Pacific Coalition for Male Health (APCOM)in Bangkok from the 25th to the 28^th ofJanuary 2016. It was aimed to improve the project management proficiency of the community organisation partners under the Multi-Country South Asia HIV Global Fund Programme (MSA) in:

1. Creating, designing and managing quality programmes and projects to a highly successful state of conclusion.

2. constructing a well-designed set of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

The training methodology was participatory in nature and the design determined (in part) by a Rapid Assessment Survey on the capacity of the participating project managers and of their organisation as a whole, conducted prior to the Workshop. The workshop, therefore, included a balanced mix of theory and practical exercises, as well as facilitated group discussions and sharing sessions.

3. The workshop was then followed up by online technical capacity assistance in developing and finalising the SOPs of CBOs across five different countries (India, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Bhutan).
