The International Planned Parenthood Federation South Asia Regional Executive Committee Meeting, organised by the IPPF South Asia Regional Office (IPPF SARO) was held on the 13th of April, 2016 at Hotel Galadari in Colombo.

Nepal - Ms. Shambhavi Poudel (Member - IPPF South Asia Regional Executive Committee)

India - Ms. Anjali Sen (Regional Director - IPPF South Asia Region)

India - Dr. Ataur Rahman (Director - Governance, IPPF SARO)

India - Mr. Varun Kumar Anand (Director - Finance & IT, IPPF SARO)

At this meeting, two long standing members of FPA Sri Lanka, Mr Ismeth Issadeen, the Honorary Treasurer of the National Council and Mr Nimal Wirasekera, the Honorary Vice President of FPA Sri Lanka, who passed away in December 2015 and January 2016, respectively, were recognized for their tremendous contribution to the organization. A letter of appreciation was handed over to the family representatives who were specially invited to this event.
