In response to the Daily Mirror article 'Government urged medicalisation of female circumcision' FPA Sri Lanka denounces female circumcision in any form that is practiced on infants and children under the age of 18 years. We strongly believe that this practice violates Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights of women.
