Activities carried out were:
- The development of an M & E Plan to make sure its compatible to the online M & E system (MEIMS) of FPA Sri Lanka, thereby enabling access to the IPPF Humanitarian Hub to monitor progress through generating full project reports, activity reports etc.
- Sensitized decision makers for the integration of SRH in service provision during emergencies by participating in national and provincial level forums.
- Have initiated an evidence building process where a desk review is currently underway on national and sub national level policies, strategies and implementation plans of MISP
FPA Sri Lanka is a member of the Committee appointed to review the GBV related gaps in implementing that National GBV Strategic Plan during emergencies.
- Provided technical support to build capacity of first respondents in a national crisis. Trainings were carried out for the Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps, Navy and the Air force.
- Plans are being drawn to undertake Mainstreaming of MISP into University curriculums. Workshops will be held at the Universities of Colombo, Peradeniya and Kelaniya.
