In alignment with this strategic objective, we are actively seeking a capable and experienced individual to assume the pivotal role of Senior Manager in Resource Mobilization & Donor Relations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive resource mobilization strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify funding opportunities and formulate strategies to secure financial support.

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing donors, ensuring effective communication and engagement.

• Research and identify prospective donors, both national and international, and devise strategies to engage and secure their support.

• Explore diverse funding streams, including corporate partnerships, foundations, NGOs/INGOs, bilateral and multilateral agencies, UN agencies and government grants, to diversify the organization's funding base.

• Maintain a comprehensive database of donors, their funding cycles, call for proposals, and funding outcomes.

• Development of high-quality concept notes, funding proposals and grant applications in partnership with programme, M&E and finance teams.

• Collaborate with the programme, M&E and finance teams to develop accurate budgets for proposals in line with donor requirements.

• Work closely with programme and M&E teams to ensure alignment of proposals with organizational priorities and donor requirements.

• Collaborate with governmental and non-governmental entities to leverage resources and enhance the organization's visibility.

Person Specifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. International Relations, Development Planning, Social Work, Public Relations).

• At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in resource mobilization, proposal writing and donor relations.

• Proven track record of successfully securing funding from diverse sources.

• Strong proficiency in developing high-quality concept notes, funding proposals and grant applications.

• Ability to articulate organizational / community needs and project objectives effectively.

• Knowledge on Results Based Planning including theory of change, results frame-work, log frame approach and results-based budgeting.

• Excellent technical written skills in English and ability to work in local languages.

• Proven experience in cultivating and maintaining relationships with existing and potential donors.

Remuneration : Monthly Salary (negotiable) + Telephone Allowance + EPF + ETF

Contract Terms : This position requires a full-time commitment and is offered on a Fixed-Term Contract Basis, initially for one year with the potential for extension based on performance and organizational needs.
