FPA Sri Lanka's Nuwara -Eliya Service Delivery Point conducted a mobile health camp under the Global Gag Rule Emergency Fund Project at the Oliphant Estate on the 14th of June 2018.
Female estate sector workers are seen as a vulnerable group due to the nature of their work( dependent on the estate co-operation for addressing their needs) and their geographical isolation. This factor limits access to facilities especially to safe and quality sexual and reproductive health services, making them vulnerable to STI's and unintended pregnancies.
FPA Sri Lanka promotes sexual and reproductive rights and provides comprehensive SRH healthcare to all including the unreached and under-served.
