The Outreach Unit conducted an Advocacy Programme in Kandy on the 30th of May. Participants included Factory Managers, Human Resource Managers and the Director and Deputy Director of the BOI Pallekelle. Topics included an introduction to FPA Sri Lanka (History, key values, goals and objectives, key Units and Projects/Programmes), Sri Lanka’s population policies and FPA Sri Lanka’s contribution to achieving the MDG’s, the Outreach Units’ programmes and activities and how they are implemented through the 6 service delivery

points and the Sexual and Reproductive Health services offered through them. Mr Lasantha Gunaratne, Mr Rajapakse Vithanage and Managers of the Nuwareliya SDP represented FPA Sri Lanka at this event.
