FPA Sri Lanka participated at the ‘International Exhibition and Trade Fair and AROGYA Medical Exhibition 2014’ held from the 16th to the 18th of May 2014 at the Sirimavo Bandaranayake Exhibition Hall at the BMICH running a stall to promote universal access to sexual and reproductive health (SRH) for all. Whilst increasing visibility of the services rendered by FPA Sri Lanka to the community, the stall also served as an awareness platform, through which those who visited the stall had the opportunity of obtaining information on family planning,
sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and SRH. All visitors were able to walk away with a range of free samples of contraceptive products from FPA Sri Lanka’s Social Marketing Program. The stall also gained the support from the general public for its ‘I Decide’ campaign under the Vision2020 programme of the International Planned Parenthood Federation.
