Enhancing Emergency Response: FPA Sri Lanka Participates in IPPA's Humanitarian Information System Training

The Indonesia Planned Parenthood Association (IPPA), in collaboration with the IPPF Humanitarian Programme, conducted a residential training on the Humanitarian Information System (HIS) from June 20th to 23rd, 2024, in Batam Island, Indonesia.

Representing F{A Sri Lanka, Mr. Janaranga Dewasurendra (Assistant Director of Monitoring & Evaluation) and Mr. Anuradha Silva (Assistant Director of IT) participated in this training programme.

The HIS is a significant achievement for IPPA, enhancing their capability to provide sexual and reproductive health services during emergency responses in Indonesia. As part of the IPPF Humanitarian Programme, FPA Sri Lanka aims to explore the integration of this application into their existing Monitoring and Evaluation Information Management System (MEIMS).
