A workshop was conducted by the Oxford Institute of Population Ageing, University of Oxford, in collaboration with the IPPF central office, with the objective of development of research skills of IPPF. There were 25 participants representing IPPF Central Office, IPPF Regional Offices and Member Associations, where selection was made via a competitive application process. Mr Suchira Suranga, Head of the Monitoring and Evaluation Unit of FPA Sri Lanka, was one of the 4 applicants accepted from the South Asian Region. The comprehensive programme covered design and implementation of research studies on #population and demography with special focus given to the IPPF mandate. In conclusion, an action plan and research agenda was developed for IPPF.
