The African Regional Office (ARO) is conducting a workshop at The Monarch Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya from the 5th to the 9^th of November to work with select Anglophone and Francophone African Member Associations to develop a social enterprise business model for laboratory, diagnostic and medical imaging services.
 
The workshop focuses on business and financial tools for developing a suitable model for specialized services that would be financially and operationally sustainable. 

Rishikeshan Thiyagaraja, Manager - IPPF Social Enterprise Hub from FPA Sri Lanka is one of the non-regional invitees for the workshop and attending in the capacity of CO Social Enterprise Advisor and presenting on IPPF's social enterprise plans for the future and drawing a parallel between the global and regional activities. The forum also presents a good opportunity to network with the senior members of the region's Member Associations and to provide clarity on the questions posed on the global initiatives.
