FPA Sri Lanka is on the lookout for a dynamic Medical Officer to assist its SRH/Medical Director. The role requires a qualified and organized individual who will assist the Director in running the Head Office clinic in Colombo 07. Apart from the main duty of the Clinician, he/she will assist the Medical Director in ensuring that quality Sexual and Reproductive Health services are dispensed at satellite clinics of FPA scattered across the country. Candidates must be available to commit to a minimum of 37 hours per week, Monday through Saturday. Flexible working hours can be arranged to accommodate private medical practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing Sexual and Reproductive services and information at the Head Office clinic.

• Ensuring the Quality of Care provided by FPA clinics.

• Effective management of staff and resources of the clinics.

• Ensuring that healthy client relationships are developed and maintained.

• Providing data and services through the online platforms of FPAs.

Job Specifications

• MBBS Degree with SLMC Registration.

• Postgraduate training/qualification in Reproductive Health, Community Medicine, or Family Medicine will be an advantage.

• Experience in Gynecology and obstetrics, though not essential, will be an added advantage.

• Experience in Project Management is an added advantage.

• Minimum two (02) to five (05) years of experience as a Medical Officer with a willingness to learn and develop in Sexual and Reproductive Health.
