The National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Course, a collaborative effort between the National STD/AIDS Control Programme (NSACP), the SKPA-2 Project, and the Sexual and Reproductive Health Institute of FPA Sri Lanka, aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of outreach and social workers supporting key populations affected by HIV and STIs.

This initiative will focus on developing NVQ Level 2 and 3 courses, tailored to meet the specific needs of those working with vulnerable communities. The courses will provide critical training and capacity-building opportunities, ensuring that social workers and outreach professionals are equipped to offer effective support, education, and care to individuals in need. This collaborative effort will significantly strengthen the response to HIV and STI challenges, empowering professionals to make a lasting impact on public health outcomes.
