The evidence is clear. When young people have access to quality education about sexual and reproductive health, it empowers them to build safe and healthy relationships. CSE aims to equip children and young people with the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values that will empower them to realize their health, well-being and dignity; develop respectful social and sexual relationships; consider the well-being of others that are affected by their choices; and understand and ensure the protection of their rights throughout their lives

During the COVID -19 pandemic, rates of sexual and gender-based violence have increased; young people’s access to quality sexuality education is important now more than ever. 

Our Nuwara Eliya SDP conducted an online Comprehensive Sexuality Education workshop for undergraduates of the University of Kelaniya on the 3rd of February 2021.
