A capacity building workshop was conducted for a diverse group of healthcare providers who are currently based in Colombo North Teaching Hospital in Ragama, Sri Lanka. The main objective of this programme is to give the participants a proper understanding about stigma and discrimination experienced by MSM and TG groups not only in their day to day lives but also by the existing punitive law and how it shapes the national HIV response. This capacity building workshop was mutually beneficial for community representatives who were present on this day to share their experiences, since it created a platform for them to express their concerns as service recipients of Colombo North Teaching Hospital in Ragama, Sri Lanka.
