FPA Sri Lanka’s 46^th Annual General Meeting was held on the 27^th of May 2017 at our Headquarters. The National Council Members for the year 2017-2018 are:

Technical Advisory Committee Chairpersons 

Dr. Lasantha Malavige - Chairperson – Medical Technical Committee

Dr. Sriyani Basnayake – Chairperson – Information, Education and Communication Technical Committee

Mr. Kamil Mohammed – Chairperson – Finance and Administration Technical Committee

Mr Chathura Chinthaka Jayasinghe – Chairperson -Social Marketing Programme Committee

Miss. Priskila Arulpragasam – Chairperson - Youth Advisory Technical Committee

The main body of governance in FPA Sri Lanka is the National Council. All operational level decisions are made by the Senior Management Team, while policy related decisions are taken at National Council level so as to maintain accountability and transparency. 

The five Technical Advisory Committees are tasked with providing expert views and recommendations in their respective areas to the National Council for formulation of an effective and sound policy framework.
