Kamal joined YAM in 2014 because he wanted to learn more about comprehensive sexuality education.  

YAM is a network of youth across Latin America and the Caribbean who provide comprehensive sexuality education to their peers.  Youth members go to public high schools around the island to teach students about HIV and AIDs prevention, how to use modern contraceptives, Zika prevention and how to identify and prevent gender-based violence.

Today, Kamal is a Program Assistant with the BFPA where he helps create CSE training programs for  youth.
