Millions of people living in crisis do not receive the humanitarian assistance they need, estimates the World Disaster Report 2018. There are people who are not prioritized for funding when resources are limited because they are not visible in the media and donor spotlight. These people go undocumented and do not appear in maps, government or humanitarian databases. Their needs are hidden from the humanitarian response. The report aligns its focus with that of the SDGs, of leaving no one behind, when it comes to humanitarian response.
