The Regional Dissemination Meeting of GGRE Grant (was held at the Holiday Inn Hotel, Sukhumvit, Bangkok, Thailand on the 5th and 6th February 2020. The main objective of this meeting was to share the progress and learnings of IPPF Member Associations carrying out the GGRE Project (Global Gag Rule Emergency Fund Project) for the period 2018-2020. Representing The Family Planning Association of Sri Lanka at this meeting was Mr. Rajapakse Vithanage, Director – Outreach and Mr. Janaranga Dewasurendra, Senior Manager – Monitoring and Evaluation participated. Dr. Ataur Rahman, Director – OLE, Mr. Suchira Suranga – Senior Technical Advisor- OLE, Ms. Kumkum Pal – Senior Project Advisor and Ms. Neha Chauhan - Senior Communication Advisor participated as IPPF delegates. GGRE Project is being implemented in Sri Lanka, Pakistan, India, Nepal and Afghanistan. Some of the main activities conducted under the project are Static Clinics, Mobile Clinics, Associated Clinics, Community based distribution/Health Assistant training and field visits, Demand Generation Programmes, Comprehensive Sexuality Education programmes and the printing of Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials.
