A meeting took place under the SPRINT III Project for 25 doctors from the Sri Lanka Army and Ministry of Health from the 17th - 19th of December 2018 at the Renuka City Hotel.
Topics discussed were:
SRH Interventions in Crises, Coordination Mechanisms of SRH in crises, Introduction to SGBV, IASC guidelines on GBV Prevention in Humanitarian Settings, Medical Services for Rape Survivors, Referral Mechanisms for Rape Survivors, Handling of Survivors of Sexual Violence, Maternal and Newborn Health in Crisis and Post-Crisis Situations, Family Planning in Crises, Clean Delivery and Immediate Newborn Care, Preventing HIV/STIs in Crises, Inclusion of LGBTIQ and Persons with Disabilities during Emergencies , Planning to integrate MISP in disaster preparedness and response group work and Ministry of Health activities to address SRH in emergencies and good practices and lessons learnt in the past
