IPPF, South Asia Region held a Member Association to Member Association learning and sharing meeting on Data Management in Kathmandu from 
the 18^th -20^th  December 2017.

During the three day session, participants from Afga Afghanistan, Family Planning Association of India, Family Planning Association of Nepal, Rahnuma Fpap and FPA Sri Lanka shared their experiences.

The workshop enabled participating Member Associations to:

1. Knowledge share - best practices, challenges and areas of improvement in data management
2. Know what data requires to be captured for effective and informed decision making. 
3. Identify policies and procedures to support efficient collection and retrieval of data.
4. Prepare an action plan

Mr Suchira Suranga – Head of the M & E Unit and Dr Nuzrath Nasoordeen, Deputy Director Medical Unit  represented FPA Sri Lanka at this meeting.
