Ms Madusha Dissanayake, FPA Sri Lanka Director Public Affairs, Policy and Advocacy attended the 2016 Global South Women’s Forum on Sustainable Development organized by GADC and IWRAW Asia Pacific in Phnom Penh, Cambodia from the 27th -30th of September 2016.
International Women’s Rights Action Watch Asia Pacific (IWRAW Asia Pacific) is an International Women’s Rights Organization established in 1993 and based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In the past 22 years, IWRAW Asia Pacific has worked with national organizations and groups in more than 140 countries across the world towards the realization of women’s human rights through the application and implementation of CEDAW (The Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women or the Treaty for the Rights of Women) and other international standards, at the national, regional and international levels. Gender and Development for Cambodia (GADC )is a national NGO that has almost 20 years of experience in advocacy and capacity development for Ending Violence against Women and Promoting Women in Leadership in Cambodia.
