FPA Sri Lanka's Executive Director, Ms Thushara Agus attended the 'Turning the Corner: Regional Workshop on Resource Mobilisation & Sustainability' ( focusing on MSM and transgender communities across South Asia) organised by APCOM (Asia Pacific Coalition on Male Sexual Health) that was held in Bangkok from the 25th-27th of May. The meeting  was organized under the Multi-Country South Asia Global Fund, HIV Programme.

The overall objective of the Workshop was to:

1.Provide inputs on strategizing resource mobilisation for sustainability and on building the organisational funding base;

( ensure the sustainability of their organisation's HIV advocacy and service delivery)

2. Equip the participants with skills on writing of case for support, proposal development and donor mapping;

3. Provide support to Sub-Recipient organisations in their effort to develop Organisational Resource Mobilisation & Sustainability Strategy and Plans.
