FPA Sri Lanka participated at the ‘Medicare, National Healthcare Exhibition 2016’ held from the 4th to the 6th of March at the BMICH. Organized by Aitken Spence Conventions & Exhibitions in collaboration with the Ministry of Health for the 7th consecutive year, it showcased the latest in modern healthcare, disease prevention, effective treatment methods, newest technology and latest services available in Sri Lankan hospitals and laboratories as well as the global medical sector.

We have been a part of this prestigious event since 2012 and the main objective was to increase awareness on the use and benefits of contraception, to reduce stigma associated with the use of these products and educating the public on Family Planning, sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and Sexual and Reproductive Health. The large numbers of people that visited our stall were able to walk away with an array of free samples of contraceptive products from FPA Sri Lanka’s Social Marketing Program.
