As part of the EC Champions Project, FPA Sri Lanka conducted a youth advocacy workshop on the 20th of April in partnership with Hashtag Generation to improve the advocacy skills of young professionals to address issues related to youth in the post 2015 agenda. The workshop was attended by 27 youth participants representing various organizations and Universities.
A presentation was made by the Director of Public Affairs, Policy and Advocacy Ms Madusha Dissanayake, and a few of the key areas addressed were Social and Behavioural Change Communication, advocacy as one of the strategies of the larger Social and Behavioural Change Communication, and key areas of advocacy and how to develop Advocacy Expected Results
