Ms Madusha Dissanayake Director Public Affairs, Policy and Advocacy attended an event that was hosted by Women in Need, UNFPA and UNICEF Sri Lanka and was able to share what IPPF South Asia Region and FPA Sri Lanka do to eliminate Sexual and Gender Based Violence in Sri Lanka (SGBV) with partners and advocacy efforts to strengthen integrated policies and systems.

She handed our Annual Report "In the LOOP" (for 2015) to Mrs Ban Soon-taek, wife of United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, whohas been involved in activities over the past 40 years to advance the cause of children, women and senior citizens. Her special interests include children's education and welfare, autism research, and issues concerning women's development and health.
