The Family Planning Association of Sri Lanka is facilitating a learning visit/workshop on its Social Marketing and Social Enterprise Programme for the Family Planning Association of India (FPAI). The objective of this visit is to share the knowledge about Social Marketing and Social Enterprising and the best practices of FPA Sri Lanka. 

The facilitators of Day 1 of the learning visit were Ms. Thushara Agus - Executive Director of FPA Sri Lanka, Mr. Rishikeshan Thiyagaraja - Manager (IPPF Social Enterprise Hub), Mr. Suhail Junaid - Director (Marketing, Mr. Amila Gunasekara - Assistant Director (Brands) and Ms. Devmi Dampella - Coordinator (IPPF Social Enterprise Hub). 

The areas of focus of Day 1 were the FPA Sri Lanka Social Marketing Programme's (SMP) initiatives, IPPF's Social Enterprise Hub and Social Enterprise Acceleration Programme, PEST analysis and SWOT analysis.

Ms. Mahtab Akbar Rashdi - Chairperson of Regional Executive Committee, Mr. Hiremalalli Rudraradhya Umesh - Chairperson of Regional Committee, Ms. Amu Singh Sijapati - Member of Regional Executive Committee and Mr. Varun Anand - Acting Regional Director of IPPF SARO were also present at the Day 1 of FPAI – FPA SL SMP Learning Visit.

The programme was held at 'Global Towers Hotel', Colombo 6.
