he Family Planning Association of Sri Lanka presents Engendering Yahapalanaya, a film and literary festival aimed at highlighting that gender equality and sexual and reproductive health and rights are also good governance issues. 

The festival is to take place in Colombo from the 17th to the 19th of February 2017 and would be followed by several 'mini-festivals' which will take place across the country in the subsequent weeks.  
The screenings will be followed by discussions featuring panelists representing a wide cross-section of society. In addition to the movies, the festival will also bring together other accompaniments such as short skits and poetry slam.
